Launched to great fanfare across the globe last month (well, apart from the Chinese version being crap and much hated), Plants vs Zombies 2 has been making waves with Popcap recently announcing a slew of impressive figures for the game. It has been downloaded almost 25 million times and has exceeded the total lifetime download figures for the original Plants vs Zombies.
EA Singapore has smartly capitalized on the craze to give back to the community with their adopted charity Club Rainbow Singapore – they provide aid and assistance to children suffering from a range of chronic and life-threatening diseases. Crazy Dave’s Taco Truck from Plants Vs Zombies will be making its way around different locations in Singapore till Sunday to hand out free tacos.
The tour kicked off yesterday at the Mapletree Business City to a large reception of people as tacos and fries were handed out to the enthusiastic crowd. Everyone had their share of fun taking pictures with the characters of the game and a chance to test out Plants vs Zombies 2 for the unacquainted. Although the food doesn’t come with a price tag, everyone is encouraged to pay any amount with all proceeds going to Club Rainbow Singapore.
Crazy Dave’s Truck will be parked at the following locations and timeslots:
- September 6-7 (Fri – Sat) 5.00PM – 8.00PM: Cineleisure Orchard
- September 8 (Sun) 1.00PM – 4.00PM: Sentosa Beach Station
